Canton is the eigth-largest city in the U.S. state of Ohio and is the county seat of Stark County. Canton is located approximately 24 miles south of Akron, and 60 miles south of Cleveland, in the northeastern part of Ohio.

| Canton Fire Department - Stations & Apparatus
|
The Canton Fire Department - suppression division is responsible for the major rescue and firefighting operations of the department. The division is divided into three battalions (shifts), each of which is supervised by a Battalion Chief.
The staff division is responsible for the training, administrative, and fire prevention functions of the department. The division is divided into four bureaus - fire prevention, operations, EMS, and training. Each bureau is supervised by a Captain
